Carlos Feu Alvim

The evaluation of the fundamental public education has produced some surprises when it identified island of excellence in unexpected places in Brazil. The System wanted to know what brought about success to these schools and evaluated what made the difference. The most important item was the teacher. The author personalizes the issue with his example of teacher.
